Accor opens Ibis and Adagio Hotel complex in Jeddah

Accor recently opened Ibis Jeddah and Adagio Jeddah at Malik Road. A hub for business, leisure and socialising; the complex offers 178 hotel rooms at Ibis, 77 serviced apartments at Adagio and a raft of shared facilities including Hadiqat Laila a 24-hour café along with innovative meeting rooms, a gym, an extensive fitness and wellbeing centre an outdoor swimming pool with a 12-hour coffee shop. Accor partners with Oman Air to enrich members’ travel experiences

Accor and Oman Air have announced a new partnership for members of their respective loyalty programmes, Le Club AccorHotels and Sindbad, with a range of benefits to make their travel experiences richer and more rewarding. This new partnership enables Le Club AccorHotels (LCAH) members to earn rewards points when flying with Oman Air by converting 1,500 Sindbad miles into 500 LCAH rewards points.  At the same time, it will enhance the experience of Le Club AccorHotels members as they will have the opportunity to redeem their rewards points into Sindbad miles to benefit from awards tickets and upgrades with Oman Air. Every 4,000 LCAH points equals to 1,500 Sindbad miles. This is an exciting partnership for frequent travellers who are members of both programmes because it allows them to purchase stays and discounts for their next trip at more than 3,500 hotels ranging from luxury to economy in joint destinations. Accor opens Novotel Bur Dubai in Healthcare City

Adding to its mid-scale range, Accor is bolstering its portfolio in the United Arab Emirates to 58 hotels with the opening of the Novotel Bur Dubai in Healthcare City. Sofitel’s largest property in ME to open in 2019

The largest property of Sofitel in the Middle East, Sofitel Dubai Wafi, is expected to open in early 2019. Being developed in collaboration with development partner MKM Commercial Holdings LLC, it will feature 501 luxury guestrooms, inclusive of 86 suites — ranging in size from 55 sq. m. to 625 sq. m. — in addition to 97 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom serviced residences, which would be operated on an extended-stay basis. Also, there will be a number of dining venues, including an Asian speciality restaurant, gastro pub, a unique destination restaurant, bar and lounge on the 43rd and 44th floors, a French lobby café, an all-day restaurant and a pool bar. Guests will also have the option to relax and unwind at the SoSpa or work out at the comprehensive gymnasium. Also a part of the property will be few outdoor pools, private cabanas and a kids club. Business travellers will have access to 10 meeting rooms, in addition to an 1115 sq. m. ballroom.
