Dadabhai Travel has renewed an exclusive agreement with Sabre Corporation to continue facilitating travel through its industry-leading platform. Hahn Air and La Compagnie announce Interline Electronic Ticketing Agreement

The German airline Hahn Air announced a new Interline Electronic Ticketing Agreement (IET) with La Compagnie, the French boutique airline offering all-business-class flights from Paris to New York. La Compagnie joined Hahn Air’s unique network of more 300 air, rail and shuttle partners to enhance its global distribution. Its flights are now available on Hahn Air’s HR-169 ticket to travel agents, using Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, Apollo and Worldspan, under La Compagnie’s IATA code B0 — even in markets where it is not a member of the local Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP). “By welcoming La Compagnie into our partner network, we are happy to complement our portfolio with an exceptional airline that truly caters to business travellers”, says Steve Knackstedt, Vice President of the Airline Business Group at Hahn Air. “Through our agreement, La Compagnie will not only generate incremental business but also gain access to our growing network of interline partners.”

Hertz inventory now on Sabre

Sabre Corporation has announced an expanded agreement to make The Hertz Corporation’s full inventory of car rental rates, including those available via Hertz.com and its mobile app, available to more than 425,000 travel agents, hundreds of corporations and the world’s largest online travel agencies powered by Sabre’s APIs. A longstanding user of Sabre’s e-commerce technology, The Hertz Corporation chose Sabre as the first GDS provider to distribute its worldwide rental vehicle inventory – including Hertz, Dollar, Thrifty and Firefly brands – to shop and book by travel agents, business travellers and online travel agency (OTA) websites using Sabre technology. With the renewed agreement, The Hertz Corporation is now positioned to market and offer its global car rental inventory through the Sabre travel marketplace, including popular prepay options previously available only on Hertz.com. The strategic collaboration will benefit Sabre-connected travel agents with a global network of car rental pickup locations, and additional payment options to shop and book one of the world’s largest vehicle fleets. Business travelers and online shoppers will also see immediate benefits, as corporate booking tools and OTA websites using Sabre technology will now display the full range of Hertz car rental inventory worldwide along with all available pricing options. Sabre promotes Sean Menke to President and CEO

Sabre Corporation’s board of directors has appointed Sean Menke as President, CEO and a member of Sabre’s board, effective Dec 31, 2016. Menke will succeed Tom Klein, who has served as president, CEO and board member since 2013. “After an extensive search of qualified candidates, the board unanimously concluded that Sean is the right choice to lead Sabre. Since his arrival last year, Sean has demonstrated that his strong industry knowledge and expertise coupled with his decisive, results-oriented management style are an effective combination.
