Deutsche Hospitality rebrands to H World International

Deutsche Hospitality is rebranding to H World International to drive the expansion of its ownership group, H World, outside of China. All of H World International’s brands will be part of the H Rewards global loyalty program and online booking platform. The brand family includes Steigenberger Icons, Steigenberger Porsche Design Hotels, Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts, Jaz in the City, House of Beats, IntercityHotel, Maxx and Zleep Hotels. New to the international brand family is Ji Hotel, one of H World China’s fastest-growing midscale brands with the recently opened Ji Hotel Orchard Singapore as the first of its kind outside of China. “The rebranding to H World International is ushering in a new chapter of international growth, complementing our vast presence in China”, says Jin Hui, CEO of H World. “It is an important step towards our goal to become a world-class global hotel group, with one global team.” Oliver Bonke will serve as CEO H World International alongside the established executive leadership team of the former Deutsche Hospitality. Deutsche Hospitality concludes 2022 by opening 3 properties in 3 months in the Middle East

Leading German hospitality management group, Deutsche Hospitality, announces the opening of three new stellar hotels in the Middle East within the last three months, taking its total operating portfolio to 26 properties and three Steigenberger Nile cruises across the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Egypt. The new openings include IntercityHotel Muscat, Steigenberger Residence Doha and Al Hamra Village Hotel, representing an additional 770 operational keys. Within the last 12 months, Deutsche Hospitality has doubled the number of rooms within its regional portfolio, reaching over 1,531 keys in the Middle East. Third IntercityHotel opens in Oman

IntercityHotel Muscat, the hotel brand’s third property in the Sultanate of Oman, has opened its doors on 1st September 2022. The new hotel building is located within the Ministry and Embassy district of Al Khuwair and is part of the prestigious A’Raya development Complex.  IntercityHotel Muscat boasts 273 guest rooms ranging from Standard Rooms to Deluxe Suites. The property includes a special Business Floor offering Business rooms and suites with added benefits of early check-ins, late check-outs, complimentary welcome drinks, and VIP in-room amenities, to name a few. dnata partners with Deutsche Hospitality to support its GCC expansion

dnata has signed a partnership agreement with Deutsche Hospitality to serve as its exclusive representation partner across the GCC countries. The announcement comes as the German hotel group expands its GCC footprint with its recent opening of the Steigenberger Hotel Doha in Qatar, the opening of the IntercityHotel Dubai Jaddaf Waterfront and the takeover of the management of the Al Hamra Residences and Al Hamra Village Hotel in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The pipeline includes a further IntercityHotel in Muscat and a Jaz in the City Hotel in Dubai. Deutsche Hospitality announces first Jaz in the City hotel in Dubai

A new hotel brand to the region was announced by Deutsche Hospitality, as the group gets set to launch the first Jaz in the City hotel in Deira, Dubai in 2022. Serving as a home away from home for music-aficionados of all genres, Jaz in the City places music in the spotlight through DJ sets and live acts, sweet sound installations, carefully compiled all-day play lists and Jaz Radio Stream, Recording Studio as well as music-minded staff and a dedicated Corporate Curator.
