Accor is opening its first Raffles Resort in the Middle East, on the iconic Palm Jumeirah. Set to open in the last quarter of 2021, Raffles the Palm Dubai will be the first ultra-luxury addition to Accor’s existing diverse portfolio in Dubai. Accor opens a new hotel under the Swissôtel brand will be opening in Çeşme, Turkey. Swissôtel Çeşme is scheduled to open in June 2022, following the contract signed between Accor Hotel Group and Dilek Holding. Situated in Çeşme, Ilıca Bay, which is known as the Pearl of the Aegean and resembling the feeling of being in Maldives to its guests with its turquoise sea and unprecedented beach, Swissôtel Çeşme is architected by Durmuş Dilekçi. Katara Hospitality announced a new partnership with Accor, a world-leading hospitality group with the two-fold signing of Raffles and Fairmont hotels in Qatar. Accor announced its continued action to lead the hospitality industry with the most stringent cleaning standards and operational procedures concentrated on guest safety. Following operational disruptions stemming from COVID-19, Accor has successfully reopened most of its hotels with 95% of them having already adopted the Group’s trusted ALLSAFE cleanliness and hygiene protocols jointly developed with Bureau Veritas.
