Radisson Hotel Group Unveils New Learning Program for Saudi Nationals

Radisson Hotel Group announced the launch of the Concierge Navigation to Success Program (NTS), a new learning programme designed for Saudi professionals working in the hospitality industry. The initiative launched at Park Inn by Radisson in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with key stakeholders from the Radisson Hotel Group supervised by Ministry of Tourism (MOT) that was represented by Princess Noura bint Khalid Al-Saud, the Learning & Development Partnership Manager at the Ministry of Tourism of Saudi Arabia.

The Concierge Navigation to Success Program launched for Saudi professionals is part of the group’s ongoing expansion strategy in the Kingdom and further cements its intensive recruitment efforts in one of its key market feeders of the region. Designed to upskill the concierge team at Radisson Hotels in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the NTS programme will equip the concierge agents with the tools and resources needed to grow in their career and succeed. This initative is also aligned with the Saudi 2030 vision to raise the contribution of the tourism sector to the domestic product to more than 10% and to provide one million additional job opportunities.

Princess Noura Al-Saud said: “We’re delighted to see international hotel groups focus on further development in the Kingdom in line with the Saudi Vision 2030. This only speaks to the group’s commitment to inspiring young adults and the new generations with tailored learning programmes to ensure career growth and the delivery of world-class services. The Human Capital Development Deputyship at the Ministry will always support such an initiative where it comes to develop and uplift the skills within the sector”.

The NTS programme aims to enrich the team’s skills needed to tailor guests’ experiences and create memorable moments while preparing them with the knowledge required to be part of the Les Clef D’or community. The program includes classroom sessions on communications, guest relations, social media usage, and more, supplemented with online training programs on theories and fundamentals. The team will also experience cross exposure in one of the Radisson Hotels. The NTS culminates with a graduation ceremony, marking the team ready for the task of welcoming Radisson Hotel Group guests.

“We are thrilled to launch this initiative today as part of our ongoing commitment to grow our Saudi team and further reinforce our presence in the market. The team is at the heart of our operations and it’s imperative to provide them with the resources to develop and grow. With the NTS program, we aim to provide the best level of service and transform our guests’ experiences into memorable moments”, added Basel Talal, Managing Director, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Levant Radisson Hotel Group.

This May, the group is also celebrating the third anniversary of Radisson Academy, the group’s learning and development umbrella program offering more than 25,000 online, virtual and live hearing seminars, as it continues to embrace the core belief of “We grow talent, talent grows us”. As the group aims to add more than 1,500 team members in EMEA, with a focus on the KSA team, the NTS looks into creating an outstanding opportunity for recruits of the Radisson Hotel Group Team.

Established in 2019, Radisson Academy provides learning and development opportunities through three main formats: online, live, and on the job, designed to provide the team members with key skills to grow professionally, to boost their potential through customized training programs focused on enabling individualized development from day one, and to create a strong performance culture, all of which play a major role in facilitating career development at all levels. New team members will benefit from incomparable learning opportunities and experiences in a fun, dynamic, and culturally diverse work environment, with unique global travel opportunities.

The Radisson Hotel Group currently has 43 hotels and more than 8,000 rooms in operation and under development in KSA alone.
