Kuwait Airways inaugurates the Elite lounge at Terminal 4 for Royal and First Class passengers

Kuwait Airways announced the inauguration of its Elite Lounge at the Terminal 4, designated for Royal and First Class passengers, in addition to Platinum Card holders of the Oasis Club. The Elite Lounge was inaugurated by Kuwait Airways Chairman, Captain Ali M. Al-Dukhan, KAC’s Board Members, and the Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Airways, Eng. Maen Razouqi, in the presence of the Acting Director General of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Mr. Saleh Al-Fadaghi, the Director General of the General Department of Airport Security at the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Essa Al-Failakawi, the CEO of Incheon Korea Airports Management Company, Mr. Jung June Ahn and various officials representing Kuwait Airways, Civil Aviation and the Ministry of Interior.  As part of the inauguration, a tour of the lounge was conducted for the officials, highlighting the various services available to the customers.

On the side lines of the inauguration, Kuwait Airways Chairman, Captain Ali Al-Dukhan felicitated the attendees on the opening of the Elite Lounge at Terminal 4, revealing the new image of the Blue Bird, which was announced in the beginning of this year. At the same time, Al-Dukhan also commended the efforts extended by Kuwait Airways’ employees in implementing and completing the preparations of the lounge with a high level of efficiency and in a short time, to provide distinguished services to the passengers of Royal and First Class.

Moreover, Al-Dukhan expressed his happiness at the opening of the Elite Lounge, held in the presence of officials from Civil Aviation and the Ministry of Interior and extended appreciations to them for their continuous support and cooperation. He indicated that the opening of the Elite Lounge comes within the policies of the company to develop the services provided to its valued customers and coincides with the increasing demand and requirements for travel at Terminal 4.

Al-Dukhan concluded by saying, “Kuwait Airways strives diligently to provide distinct services and assist its passengers, whether at Terminal 4 or at any of its outstations. The company’s role is not limited to providing transportation, but rather serving and meeting the requirements and preferences of its customers, whether by providing multiple travel destinations or high level and flexible services offered before, or during their travel, as well as ensuring a pleasant experience onboard.”

 

On his part, the Director General of Civil Aviation, Mr. Saleh Al-Fadaghi expressed his sincere appreciation to Kuwait Airways employees headed by the Chairman, Captain Ali Al-Dukhan and the Executive Management for their extensive efforts and preparations leading to the completion of the Elite Lounge. He also extended his best wishes for further success and in promoting the Blue Bird to greater extent in the future. Al-Fadaghi added that the Elite Lounge was designed, planned, and arranged in a distinct and appealing manner to provide comfort and services, that are based on the requirements of this segment of customers. Al-Fadaghi also urged the employees of Kuwait Airways to extend greater efforts in the service of the civil aviation sector in Kuwait and the air transport industry in general.

The Elite Lounge is designated for the passengers of Royal and First Class, in addition to Platinum Card holders of the Oasis Club. The lounge is specifically designed and equipped with the latest features and technology, with a capacity of 80 seats, four large size television screens to display flight schedules, in addition to Wi-Fi facilities for passengers to browse the internet. The lounge which has an area of 250 square meters, offers passengers with an array of the finest selection of local and international cuisine to suit varied tastes and preferences. The lounge was designed and implemented within 120 days by a Kuwaiti contracting company specialized in decor and under the supervision of Kuwait Airways Engineers.​
