UAE welcomes first Russian visitors at Dubai International Airport

Passport control officers at Dubai International Airport have completed the entry procedures for the first Russian tourist group coming to the United Arab Emirates through Dubai airports after the resumption of air traffic at Dubai airports. His Excellency Major General Mohamed Ahmed Al-Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, revealed that the GDRFA Dubai issued one million and 678 thousand visas to Russians from 2018 until September 8 this year. KLM to restart its flight to Kuwait from September 24, 2020

KLM will resume its operation to Kuwait City as of Thursday of September 24, starting with two flights per week. Etihad to resume flights to Casablanca and Rabat from September 19, 2020

Etihad Airways will resume passenger flights from Abu Dhabi, UAE, to Casablanca and Rabat, in the Kingdom of Morocco. Effective September 19, the airline will operate returning flights three times a week from Abu Dhabi to Casablanca. This service will be followed by direct flights between the two capitals, Abu Dhabi and Rabat, on October 28. Korean Air extends multi-year content agreement with Travelport

Lufthansa to increase weekly flights on Frankfurt-Dubai route starting September

Lufthansa has announced that it will ramp up flight operations on its Frankfurt-Dubai route in September by 30 per cent, an increase of eight flights compared to the month of August. The addition of new flights follows the airline’s resumption of scheduled services from the UAE in early July in view of the steady growth in demand for intercontinental travel. There will be a total of five flights a week from 3 to 13 September and four weekly services as of September 14, 2020. flydubai has announced that passengers booking with flydubai for travel between 01 September and 30 November 2020 will automatically receive free global cover for COVID-19.The new service covers passengers’ health expenses and quarantine costs if diagnosed with COVID-19 during their trip and is valid for 31 days from the time they take their first flight on their itinerary. The service enables passengers to benefit from coverage for their medical expenses up to EUR 150,000 and quarantine costs up to EUR 100 per day for 14 days.
