Nakheel Mall on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah to open on November 28, 2019

Nakheel Mall on Palm Jumeirah will open on November 28, with a huge range of live events and promotions in store for the UAE National Day weekend and beyond. The new centrepiece has five retail levels with more than 300 shops, restaurants, entertainment outlets, and services, including MODO department store, Depachika Food Hall, a 14- screen Vox Cinemas complex, Waitrose supermarket, H&M, Trampo Extreme, Fabyland, Dubai London Clinic and Fitness First. Nakheel Mall is easily accessible by rail, road or on foot. Its Palm Monorail station will be operational on opening day, and there are direct road links to 4000 parking spaces as well as pedestrian access via Al Ittihad Park and Marina Residences. The mall is also the access point for The View at The Palm, a public observatory perched on the top of The Palm Tower, 230 metres above the island and the view will open in 2020. A host of live entertainment, promotions, and activities will take place at Nakheel Mall over the National Day weekend and beyond, with AED 1 million worth of prizes, including a brand new Maserati up for grabs for every AED 250 spent between November 28 to December 7. Visitors can also catch My Little Pony and Baby Shark live, with roaming entertainment, live bands and children’s workshops. Dubai Airshow 2019 to welcome more than 87,000 visitors from Nov 17-21

Dubai Airshow 2019 which was officially opened on November 17 is set to welcome 1,288 exhibitors and more than 87,000 trade visitors over the next five days. The event was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces. It was also attended by Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who joined his father for the start of an inaugural tour of the site. Sixth Sharjah Hospitality Forum focuses on ‘Sustainable Tourism’

The Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) hosted the sixth edition of the Sharjah Hospitality Forum under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak unveils commemorative stamp celebrating the ‘Year of Tolerance’

H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, & Vice Chairman of the Supreme National Committee of the Year of Tolerance, unveiled a series of commemorative stamps to celebrate the UAE’s ‘Year of Tolerance’. Emirates Post, in collaboration with the Supreme National Committee for the Year of Tolerance, has released these stamps to highlight the achievements of the year in incorporating the values of openness, harmony and coexistence within communities, in line with the UAE’s goal of promoting a culture of tolerance and spreading the message of peace through diversity. The announcement was made at the World Tolerance Summit organised by the International Institute for Tolerance, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Jazeera Airways to launch direct flights between Kuwait and Al Ain from December 8

Travellers in Kuwait will be able to fly directly to Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, starting December 8 with a newly established flight route by Jazeera Airways. Supported by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), the independent airline announced the new direct flights to Al Ain at a travel trade event in Kuwait. The event included many DCT Abu Dhabi’s key partners in Al Ain, such as Rotana Hotels, Ayla Hotels, Al Bada Resorts, and Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting, and Golf Club. By establishing the new direct routes, DCT Abu Dhabi hopes to encourage travellers from Kuwait to visit the city of Al Ain in a move to boost tourism to the ‘heritage heartland’ of the emirate.
