SCTDA showcases its innovative new tourism projects at WTM

The Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) is taking part in its 21st consecutive World Travel Market (WTM) 2024 with a delegation of 20 government and private entities, SCTDA will showcase the emirate’s rich cultural heritage along with its innovative new tourism projects. Highlights include the Sharjah Safari, recognised as the largest safari experience outside of Africa, and the Moon Retreat, a unique desert glamping site designed for both adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts. In addition to its natural wonders, SCTDA will feature Sharjah’s historical sites and cultural initiatives that draw tourists from around the globe. These include several new developments including the Hanging Gardens in Kalba, Al Hefaiyah Lake, and the Jebel Deem ‘Ghamam’ and Kalba Gate projects. Under the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, Sharjah has developed into a hub of culture, art, education, and leisure. The third-largest emirate in the UAE and the fifth safest city globally, Sharjah is celebrated for its family-friendly atmosphere. It is an evolving model of how modern urban spaces can harmoniously blend cultural depth with contemporary living and thriving nature.
