The accreditation reflects how Riyadh Airports Company (RAC) is meeting Chinese passengers’ needs in KKIA’s terminals and facilities, offering a seamless travel experience, and strengthens its relationship with the Chinese market, one of the biggest markets in Asia and the world. The certificate was obtained as RAC achieved standards and requirements issued by the China Tourism Academy (CTA) and Select Holding Ltd. It affirms Riyadh Airports’ competency in studying and assessing passengers’ needs and providing an exceptional experience. The Welcome Chinese Certification positively reflects on Riyadh Airport as KKIA is already reaping the benefits of marketing and promotional services in the Chinese travel industry. Riyadh Airports Company, which manages and operates King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has launched an updated version of the interactive chat service via “WhatsApp” and Twitter. The new version is cutting-edge technology, empowered with artificial intelligence technology. The latest version includes new features to provide a unique and innovative experience, such as replacing long text messages and lists with a set of options and drop-down menus, which allow the user to click on the menu and choose the service to get the service rapidly and effortlessly. Another big milestone is providing flight notifications in sign language for the deaf and dumb, as well as information on the airport’s services, making KKIA the first airport in the world to provide such a feature. In this context, Eng. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Maghlouth, CEO of Riyadh Airports, said: “By launching the updated version of the interactive service, we aim to enhance passengers’ experiences through King Khalid International Airport. Riyadh Airports Company, the company responsible for managing and operating King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) in the Saudi capital, and Uber have recently signed an agreement, putting the onus of transporting passengers to and from terminals 1, 2 and 5 of KKIA on Uber. CEO of Riyadh Airports, Saleh Al Rasheed, said, “This agreement is in line with Riyadh Airports’ policy of developing strategic partnerships that can help them enhance the experience of the passengers travelling through King Khalid International Airport and ensure that their satisfaction is aided by the continued availability of reliable and efficient services”.
