Wizz Air Abu Dhabi announce Mykonos, Rhodes and Crete to be added to the flight roster

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has announced an exciting list of new destinations in time for the summer. Amongst the new destinations include the idyllic Greek islands of Mykonos, Rhodes and Crete. Flights to Mykonos will start on 07 July, Crete on 09 July and Rhodes on 12 July. The route to Mykonos will be operated twice per week on Wednesdays and Sundays. Rhodes will operate on Mondays and Fridays, which is also the same for Crete. Tickets will go on sale for Mykonos, Rhodes and Crete on 7 June 2021 on wizzair.com and the airline’s mobile app (also available in Arabic), with fares starting as low as AED 179 for all flights*. The new Greek destinations offer travellers a myriad of experiences, white sandy and secluded beaches, crystal clear waters, buzzing nightlife, and a wealth of historical sites and ancient treasures to discover. The announcement comes as the UAE has established a travel corridor for Greece and brings Wizz Air Abu Dhabi’s flight network to a total of 29 destinations. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi launches new route to Chisinau

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has announced the launch of its latest route to Chisinau, Moldova, starting on 4 September 2021. With the launch of Chisinau, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has now on sale 25 destinations. The flight to Chisinau will be operated two times per week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi launch routes to Greek tourist hotspot Santorini

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will fly two times per week from the UAE capital to one of Greece’s most stunning travel destinations: the island of Santorini. With Greece and the United Arab Emirates having opened a travel corridor earlier in May, vaccinated travellers can visit the alluring Aegean archipelago without needing to quarantine. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will fly to Santorini from 2 July 2021 twice per week, every Monday and Friday. UAE passengers can fly into Greece without needing to quarantine on arrival in the country. They must provide a negative PCR test taken by swab up to 72 hours before the arrival, or hold a certificate of vaccination in English issued by a public authority, children 5 years of age and younger are exempted. The vaccination needs to have been completed at least 14 days before arrival to Greece. The certificate should include the full name of the passenger, the type of vaccine, the number of doses taken and the dates. When returning to Abu Dhabi, UAE residents and citizens who have been vaccinated for at least 28 days, and have received a vaccine report on the Alhosn app, will be able to fly into the UAE from Greece without having to follow quarantine restrictions. Passengers will have to take a PCR test 72 hours before departure, alongside taking another PCR test on arrival into the UAE, and another on the sixth day after arriving. Children 12 years of age and younger are exempted. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi commence flights to Kiev, Bari, Salalah and Muscat

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will commence flights to its latest destinations, Kiev, Bari, Salalah and Muscat. The flight to Ukraine’s capital city, Kiev will be operated three times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays; flights to Bari, Italy will be operated two times per week on Tuesdays and Saturdays; routes to Salalah, Oman will be operated two times per week on Wednesdays and Saturdays; and flights to the capital of Oman, Muscat will be operated three times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi to start Tel Aviv flights from April 18th

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi announced its first flight to Tel Aviv on April 18, 2021, following the announcement that Israel has been added to the green list (a list of ‘green’ countries, regions and territories that you can travel from if planning a trip to Abu Dhabi), meaning travellers will no longer need to quarantine upon arrival in Abu Dhabi. Tickets are already on sale on wizzair.com and the airline’s mobile app, which is also available in Arabic, with fares starting as low as AED 99*. The flights from Abu Dhabi to Tel Aviv will be available three times per week in April, moving to daily flights in May. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi launches new routes to Kazakhstan

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has announced the launch of its latest routes from Abu Dhabi to Almaty and Nur Sultan, Kazakhstan, starting in the middle of May 2021. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has launched an automated refund process that handles cash conversion refund requests within just one week, offering travellers an easy way to manage their bookings. The automated process means that for passengers whose flights have been cancelled, based on the option selected by the customer, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will automatically refund 120% of the original fare in airline credit, or provide passengers with the option to receive a 100% cash refund to their original payment method or provide the chance to rebook for free.
