Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the opening of Grand Hyatt Al Khobar Hotel and Residences in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—the first Grand Hyatt hotel in the Kingdom. The 368-room luxury hotel including 54 residential units is situated in the commercial and retail heart of Al Khobar with a connecting bridge to Al Rashid Mall. Grand Hyatt Al Khobar Hotel and Residences is the sixth Hyatt-branded hotel in Saudi Arabia, and the fifth hotel under the Grand Hyatt brand in the Middle East, making it an important milestone in Hyatt’s growth strategy in the region. Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the official opening of Hyatt Place Dubai Jumeirah in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The new hotel joins Hyatt Place Dubai Al Rigga, Hyatt Place Dubai Baniyas Square and Hyatt Place Dubai Wasl District, all of which are intended to cater to the UAE’s increasing mid-market hotel segment. The new hotel features the Hyatt Place brand’s intuitive design, casual atmosphere and practical amenities, such as free Wi-Fi and shared computers with high-speed internet, accommodating guests’ needs through purposeful service and an overall uncomplicated stay. The hotel is located on Al Mina Road near the exclusive Jumeirah neighborhood, the new Hyatt Place hotel provides easy access to the city’s points of interest, such as the Dubai Mall, the Gold and Spice Souk, Burj Khalifa, and popular beach destinations, including La Mer and Jumeirah Beach. The third property in the portfolio of Hyatt properties in the Old Dubai area opened recently as Hyatt Place Wasl District joining the two other earlier properties, Hyatt Place Dubai/Al Rigga and Hyatt Place Dubai/Baniyas Square in increasing the number of contemporary yet affordable hospitality offerings in the city. The opening of the property brings Hyatt hotels in the UAE to 10 properties. Hyatt Place Dubai/Wasl District offers 202 guestrooms, including 10 suites, with separate spaces to sleep, work and play, as well as a Cozy Corner sofa-sleeper, 105 well-appointed apartments comprising of studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments that feature kitchenette, modern utility services and more. Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya, the first Hyatt Regency hotel to open in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya offers 261 spacious guestrooms, including 40 suites, spread across 28 floors. All guestrooms and suites feature panoramic views of the vibrant city of Riyadh, and incorporate subtle local touches and design elements, including patterned leather panels that are embroidered with a contemporary interpretation of a middle eastern mashrabiya motif.
