Hatta Resorts and its Wadi Hub by Dubai Holding are set to elevate the thrill factor during this season with the introduction of Aerial Adventure Park, a multiverse exhilarating attraction designed to be accessible to visitors of all ages and physical abilities. Opening its doors today, Season 6 promises a plethora of enticing stay options and an action-packed events calendar that will keep the excitement soaring all-season long. In addition to the impressive line-up of activities that Hatta Resorts and its Wadi Hub are known for, such as kayaking, hiking, ziplining, mountain biking and the iconic Hatta Drop-in water slide, the new Aerial Adventure Park boasts a High Ropes Course, Free Fall, Giant Swing, 45 Degree Zip, Bag Drop, Zip Line Belay and the heart-pounding Leap of Faith. Each of the park experiences lasts between 90 to 120 minutes, with the capacity to accommodate up to 75 visitors simultaneously. For the younger adventurers, the Aerial Adventure Park also features a specially designed ground-level park tailored for children aged three to six. This children’s version offers an experience lasting between 30 to 45 minutes and can host up to 10 children at a time. Hatta Resorts by Dubai Holding opens today for its much-awaited Season 5 with captivating stay propositions, exciting new adventure attractions, and an expanded calendar of activities. Poised to drive record levels of local, regional, and international visitors to the scenic Hajar mountains, where temperatures are regularly several degrees cooler than the city, the eco-tourism hub’s diverse mix of accommodation, activities and dining options is now open to welcome visitors throughout the season. After attracting more than 1.25 million visitors in 2021, including more than 200,000 visitors from 125 countries who stayed overnight at Hatta Resorts, the exhilarating region is launching an all-new, multipurpose adventure ropes course catering to thrill-seeking children and adults. Hatta Resorts and Hatta Wadi Hub Season 5 will commence on 15 September 2022, following a successful extended Season 4 that welcomed more than 200,000 visitors from 125 nationalities in eight months. In line with the emirate’s vision to create opportunities and engage businesses in Hatta, Season 4 also witnessed a 32 percent increase in the number of partners from the Hatta local community reaching 25 partners, who have been instrumental in the development of Hatta’s eco-tourism. Increase of footfall was influenced by the new additions to the destination’s experiences, the Hatta Caravan Park and the Hatta Dome Park, complementing the existing Damani Lodges and Sedr Trailers, and giving people more opportunities to enjoy Hatta’s views, activities and charm. In the meantime, Hatta Kayak as well as biking and hiking activities will continue to operate throughout the summer. Summer Activities Adventure seekers can continue to enjoy Hatta’s hiking and biking trails. Spanning 32.6 kilometers, the Hatta hiking and biking trails are divided into different grades and five routes to accommodate every level and experience of hikers and riders. Visitors can explore the area on their own mountain bikes or rent a bike from Hubbers, the mountain bike centre at Hatta Wadi Hub. A day in Hatta is not complete without kayaking on the iconic lake formed by the Hatta Dam. Hatta Kayak is open daily from 7:00AM to 11:00AM, and 3:00PM to 9:00PM. The Supreme Committee to Oversee the Development of Hatta held a workshop in the presence of a group of Hatta residents, in order to present the development initiatives being implemented in Hatta, and to take the opinions and suggestions of the people of the region, during which the executive team for the development of the Hatta region and the representatives of the sub-teams presented a list of projects and a road map for the region. The meeting also included a discussion session during which the team members listened to the suggestions and observations of the people of Hatta about the existing initiatives and projects aimed at developing the area. The supreme committee is keen to engage the residents of Hatta in the development process, which would create promising work prospects. Undertaking such projects responds to the directives of leaders aimed to bring happiness to citizens and support the youth to harness their energetic and innovative ideas in the prosperity of the area.
