In Chinese culture, the Red Dragon symbolises prosperity and good fortune, making it a fitting emblem for the Year of the Dragon in 2024. The colour red embodies strength and vitality, reserved for significant celebrations, signifying auspiciousness and life-generating energy. Vietnam on the other hand, hailed as the Land of the Blue Dragon, honours these mythical creatures as symbols of power and prosperity. The folklore narrates the union of Lac Long Quan, a dragon prince, and Au Co, a fairy princess, believed to be the ancestors of the Vietnamese people.
