Kuwait Airways announced the opening of its Sales Office in Alexandria, Egypt. In a statement to the press, the company said that the opening of the office comes within the framework of the Blue Bird’s preparation for the 2023 summer season, with its plans to expand to new destinations, provide the best services to its customers, as well as meet their requirements, while offering convenient and comfortable facilities to them. In addition, the company stated that the Sales Office will provide several services, including issuing tickets and reservations for commercial travel to customers. The office will also provide the service of changing tickets, such as upgrading the travel classes on board, whether to Business Class, or First Class or Royal Class, as well as changing and cancelling reservation dates and receiving all inquiries, complaints and suggestions from customers and working to assist them. Moreover, the office gives priority to its clients with special needs and the elderly with a specially designated area for assisting and providing services to them as quickly as possible. The company concluded its statement by affirming its relentless commitment to providing the best services to its customers and completing their travel procedures with ease from the airport and enjoying the company’s services on board. Etihad Airways will operate its popular seasonal routes from Abu Dhabi to Alexandria, Egypt, and Salalah, Oman, between June 25 to September 15, 2020. Due to the success of the routes in 2019, the period of operation has been extended by three weeks and a new fifth weekly service introduced on both routes on Fridays, complementing existing departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Both flights will be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft. With the addition of these seasonal destinations, the airline will operate a total of 33 flights per week to Egypt, 28 flights to Cairo and five to Alexandria. The airline will operate a total of 26 flights per week to Oman with 21 weekly flights to Muscat and five to Salalah. The historical city of Alexandria, the second-largest in Egypt, is known for its rich history and beautiful Mediterranean coastline. Salalah, known for its natural beauty and culture, is popular during summer months for its unique khareef, or green season. Flight EY 660 will depart from Abu Dhabi at 13:55 pm and arrive in Alexandria at 15:40 pm, the flight will operate five days a week (Tuesday, Thurday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Etihad Airways is preparing to launch seasonal summer flights from Abu Dhabi to the historic Egyptian city of Alexandria, one of oldest continuously-inhabited locations in the world and home to the Great Library of Alexandria and one of the ancient world wonders, the Pharos Lighthouse. This famous coastal city is also a convenient gateway for many of the Egyptian expatriates living in the UAE and planning to return home during the summer holidays. Between July 2 and August 31, the Airbus A320 flights will depart Abu Dhabi at 2.15 pm every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, arriving in Alexandria at 4:00 pm. Return flights will depart Alexandria at 4:50 pm, arriving back in Abu Dhabi at 10:40 pm. With the addition of these seasonal services, Etihad will operate a total of 32 flights per week to Egypt – 28 flights to Cairo and four to Alexandria.
