Dubai’s Aleph hospitality continues expansion with upscale hotel in Ghana; The Pelican Hotel in Accra

Dubai-based independent hotel management company, Aleph Hospitality, has signed an agreement to operate The Pelican Hotel in Accra, marking the Group’s first entry into Ghana. Located in Cantonments, an affluent suburb of Accra home to various embassies, as well as shopping malls, dining and leisure facilities, the all-suite boutique hotel is set to open in June 2023. A 10-minute drive from Kotoka International Airport, the upscale property features 134 suites and apartments, a cafe, a speciality restaurant, swimming pool, gym, spa and meeting room facilities. Dubai based Aleph hospitality enters Congo to manage Kertel Suites Kinshasa

Dubai-based independent hotel management company, Aleph Hospitality, has signed a management contract with Congo-based Sokerico Group to operate Kertel Suites in Kinshasa. The boutique property, which is currently under development, is set to open in Q1 2023, and on opening the hotel will set a new benchmark for the hospitality sector in Kinshasa with its all-suites accommodations and state of the art food and beverage offerings. Aleph Hospitality’s portfolio now covers 12 properties across eight countries on the African continent. Located in the capital Kinshasa, in the heart of Gombe, a flourishing business centre and embassies area, Kertel Suites offers brand-new, contemporary accommodation. Aleph hospitality signs third hotel in Uganda

Aleph Hospitality has solidified its presence in Uganda by taking over management of the Best Western Plus The Athena Hotel in Kampala earlier this month. Best Western Plus The Athena is a contemporary four-star hotel situated in the upscale neighbourhood of Bugolobi, on the outskirts of the capital Kampala. The boutique hotel features a restaurant, cocktail lounge, outdoor garden, pool and gym, as well as a business centre and conference facilities. The hotel is located in the central business district of Kampala. Bani Haddad, Founder and Managing Director of Aleph Hospitality said: “We are delighted to welcome the Best Western Plus The Athena Hotel into the Aleph portfolio. Aleph Hospitality to manage three hotels in Kenya

Aleph Hospitality has signed the management contracts for three hotels in Kenya. The hotels, Boma Nairobi, Boma Inn Nairobi, and Boma Inn Eldoret, are owned by Red Court Hotel, a subsidiary of Kenya Red Cross Society. Managed under Red Court Hotel’s homegrown Boma brand until now, Dubai-based Aleph Hospitality has been appointed to manage the properties and turn them into profitable assets once again. As part of the agreement, Aleph Hospitality has pledged financial support to the Kenya Red Cross, by donating a percentage of fees it earns from the hotels to local charitable initiatives. Aleph Hospitality enters the Middle East market

Aleph Hospitality announced its entry in to the Middle East market with the signing of its first hotel in Dubai.The 386-room five-star hotel, located on Sheikh Zayed Road adjacent to the museum of the future and minutes away from the Dubai World Trade Centre, is set to open in the second quarter of 2021 and will be internationally branded. The property has a full floor of meeting rooms as well as two restaurants, a pool and spa facilities. Aleph Hospitality re-opens the Ramada by Wyndham Addis

Aleph Hospitality took over the management of the Ramada by Wyndham Addis, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia earlier this year. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, which followed soon after takeover, the hotel was partially closed but fully re-opened on June 22, 2020.
