Al Habtoor Hotels in partnership with Elli’s Kosher Kitchen recently became the first hotel group to introduce Kosher food and beverage services to its UAE culinary portfolio. Further ongoing efforts to excel in meeting the needs and requirements of the Jewish community visiting the UAE, Al Habtoor City, Hotel Collection has extended its kosher services by being the first hotels to offer a 24/7 In-room dining experience whereby guests may indulge in a delicious OU Certified Kosher Room Service Menu in the comfort of their very own guest rooms. The room service menu would include a selection of breakfast items as well as a curated range of Kosher favourites including a selection of Kosher grape beverages and a kid’s menu prepared in accordance to the OU Kosher Certification (Orthodox United) which is known to be the most trusted form of certification when it comes to handling Kosher meals globally. Key players in Dubai’s tourism industry came together to mark the city’s milestone achievement of reaching 100,000 rooms across its expanding hotel and hotel apartment inventory following the soft opening of The Westin Dubai, Al Habtoor City. In attendance were His Excellency Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism), and Mohammed Khalaf Al Habtoor, Vice Chairman and CEO of Al Habtoor Group, together with Marriott International’s Alex Kyriakidis, President and Managing Director Middle East and Africa, and Guido de Wilde, Chief Operating Officer Middle East. Commenting on the occasion, His Excellency Almarri said that for the hotel sector, high demand from international travellers, and the consequent growth in tourism volumes, has been the cornerstone of fostering continued investment in supply enhancement, which has seen us cross this historic 100,000 rooms threshold. The hotel is the second Westin hotel to open in Dubai and the largest Westin hotel across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Rising to 41 storeys and located on Sheikh Zayed Road, it promises travellers a whole new level of active wellness from check-in to check-out.
