Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) kicked off a promotional tour covering Denmark, Sweden and Norway, under the leadership of His Excellency Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of the Department. Ajman is currently witnessing a substantial increase in tourists from the CIS countries, recording an exceptional increase of 12 per cent visitors and 12 per cent increase in nightly accommodations. There has been a marked increase of 3 per cent in hotel occupancy rate, along with a 5 per cent increase in room revenues as compared to the previous year.
