Kuwait Airways participates in the 7th edition of the Bahrain International Airshow

Kuwait Airways participated in the 7th edition of the Bahrain International Airshow held recently, as part of the delegation from the State of Kuwait, represented by the President of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Sheikh Eng. Humoud Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, and in the presence of Kuwait Airways Chairman, Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan and an accompanying delegation of KAC officials. The airshow was attended by exhibitors and partners from across the aviation industry, including around 223 civil and military delegations representing more than 56 countries and 60 regional and international companies. Additionally, more than 135 local, regional, and international companies showcased exhibits across exhibition halls, airport spaces, chalets and five international pavilions.

The Kuwait Airways pavilion during the exhibition witnessed successful participation and attendance from visitors, hosting various officials and aviation enthusiasts. This provided a platform for the company to showcase its latest products and services, in addition to the extent of development of technology and methods adopted in KAC’s fleet. The pavilion also highlighted KAC’s role as a distinguished national carrier with its legacy of notable achievements since 1954 to the visitors and attendees present.

The President of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Sheikh Eng. Humoud Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Sabah emphasized on the importance of the Bahrain International Airshow and its significant role in bringing together large number of aviation companies and experts in the industry from the region and around the world under one platform. At the same time, he congratulated His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the tremendous success achieved by the exhibition and attaining the highest levels of excellence, whether in terms of organization, or the presence of advanced technology that was well received by the visitors, or the participation of major international companies displaying the latest types of aircraft.

Al-Humoud valued the strong, historic relations between the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain on all levels, including economic, social, cultural, and other aspects, stressing on the extent of these relations that unite the two countries and their distinction, as well as their long history at the level of political leadership.

Al-Humoud pointed out on the extensive efforts of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation to develop prospects of joint cooperation between the State of Kuwait and countries of the world in the air transport sector, thereby enhancing the State of Kuwait’s presence at all meetings and to develop its strategic relations with them.

On his part, Kuwait Airways Chairman, Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan stated, “Kuwait Airways is pleased to participate in one of the most important exhibitions in the region, the Bahrain International Airshow in its seventh edition. The company also extends its sincere felicitations to His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain and acknowledges the Kingdom of Bahrain’s achievement and efforts in organizing the airshow, which has witnessed a remarkable presence at the regional and international levels by major companies specialized in the air transport sector.”

Al-Fagaan added, “Kuwait Airways’ participation in the airshow reflects its commitment to be present at major international events, especially as the national carrier and representing the State of Kuwait among international airlines. Exhibitions like the Bahrain International Airshow are significant, providing a unique platform for gathering the world’s leading airlines.”

Al-Fagaan stated that the airshow enables Kuwait Airways to showcase its achievements and the remarkable developments it has achieved recently in terms of its modern fleet, the new passenger services that provide increased comfort to its valued customers and its role in establishing the latest standards and providing a pioneering travel experience with high-end features which are evident. Moreover, Kuwait Airways’ presence at the exhibition is a unique opportunity to discuss the prospects of new partnerships and agreements with other companies and to benefit from the latest developments in the world of aviation and modern technology of aircraft whether related to entertainment system or comfortable services, in addition to closely examining future projects and plans related to the world of aviation.

Al-Fagaan continued by saying, “The airshow successfully connects aviation and engine manufacturing companies from around the world, as well as entities employed in aviation services which has been beneficial for airlines in developing their service systems, including operational improvements or services provided to various types of passengers. The exhibition highlighted the latest equipment, techniques and modern technology offered by the aviation sector that contribute to the development and improvement of the aviation industry around the world.”

Al-Fagaan expressed hope that exhibitions such as these would continue as they are of immense benefit to the aviation sector. He appreciated the enormous efforts extended by officials in charge of the exhibition in bringing together aviation companies and manufacturers from around the world under one platform. He also extended his thanks to the Bahrain International Airshow officials for their interest in Kuwait Airways’ participation in the exhibition and providing them with the necessary requirements.
