The Minister of Information and the Chairman of Kuwait Airways discuss the company’s vital role in supporting the tourism sector in Kuwait

Kuwait Minister of Information and Culture and Kuwait Airways Chairman discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between Kuwait Airways and the Ministry through the exchange of services related to the tourism sector, in addition to reviewing the most important future projects between the two sides. The Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Mr. Abdulrahman Badah Al-Mutairi held discussions with Kuwait Airways Chairman, Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan, who was accompanied by the Chief Executive Officer, Captain Ahmad M. Alkreebani and a delegation from Kuwait Airways. The discussions focused on the significant efforts extended by the company and the services it provides in supporting the tourism sector in the State of Kuwait. During the meeting, the Minister also discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between Kuwait Airways and the Ministry through the exchange of services related to the tourism sector, in addition to reviewing the most important future projects between the two sides. Following the meeting, Al-Fagaan highlighted in a press statement that Kuwait Airways continuously enjoys the full support and consideration from the Ministry of Information in all its activities and events, especially within and outside the State of Kuwait, making it an indispensable partner in Kuwait Airways’ accomplishments and contributing significantly to the achievement of its desired objectives. Kuwait Airways and Public Authority join to introduce new training and job opportunities

Kuwait Airways has signed a cooperation protocol with the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training to create a diploma program specializing in ‘Aviation Sciences and Air Transport’ at the Communications and Navigation Institute at the Authority. The protocol will enable the qualification and training of graduates from the (Applied) program within the company’s operational sectors. The cooperation will also include providing students with the opportunity to work at Kuwait Airways in the future, according to the requirements and specific training conditions based on the agreement concluded between them. The protocol was signed by the Chairman, Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan on behalf of Kuwait Airways, and the Director General, Dr. Hassan Mohammad Al-Fajjam, on behalf of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, in the presence of various officials representing both parties. Speaking during the signing ceremony, Kuwait Airways Chairman, Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan emphasized on the importance of the protocol in equipping the upcoming generations in the service of their country and their national carrier, Kuwait Airways. Kuwait Airways hosts NBK Aspire program students for summer internship

As part of its tireless efforts to implement its social responsibility programs, Kuwait Airways in cooperation with the National Bank of Kuwait hosted an educational tour and field visit for NBK Aspire program students as part of their summer internship at the company’s various facilities. This included a visit to the aircraft hangar facilities at the Engineering department to understand about the mechanisms and procedures of the department’s work related to aircraft maintenance. This was in addition to providing the trainees with detailed explanations about the nature of work related to maintenance procedures, thereby enriching the knowledge of the participants about the world of aviation. The Acting Director of Corporate Communication and Public Relations department at Kuwait Airways, Mr. Hamad Bader Al-Ozainah stated, “Kuwait Airways is pleased to host the students participating in the National Bank of Kuwait’s summer internship program. Kuwait Airways ranks third in MEA with 9.1% for its on-time performance

Kuwait Airways has been ranked third in the Middle East and Africa region in terms of its On-Time Performance ensuring timely flight departures with a growth rate of 91.13%, according to the periodic report for the month of June 2024 issued by Cirium, which specializes in aviation analytics and data that includes the On-Time Performance of airlines around the world. ​​​ Kuwait Airways confirmed an increase in the punctuality rate of flight departure timings, as the company achieved an On-Time Performance of 90.6% in May 2024, compared to 88.2% in April 2024 and 85.6% in March 2024. Kuwait Airways affirmed its unwavering commitment to implement its adherence to punctuality in an effort to achieve further progress and development in the various performance standards expected of international airlines with competence and expertise, achieved with the determination of its dedicated employees. Kuwait Airways flies to Salalah three flights per week

Kuwait Airways launched its first scheduled summer flights to the city of Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman with three flights per week on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. They shared that the company said that the selection of Salalah as a destination came after comprehensive research of the feasibility of this destination in general, and the extent of its demand, which is becoming increasingly popular among valued customers, especially during the summer season, due to the various attributes of Salalah, such as its moderate climate, touristic attractions, historical and cultural landmarks, as well as its greenery and picturesque nature. Kuwait Airways had previously announced its flight schedule for the 2024 summer travel season which includes the launch of new destinations such as Antalya with two flights per week, Bodrum with three flights per week, Trabzon with three flights per week, Sharm El Sheikh with two flights per week, Malaga with three flights per week, Nice with two flights per week and Sarajevo with three flights per week, bringing the operation of flights to 55 destinations and the average number of flights per day to 52 flights during the summer season. Kuwait Airways signs rail service agreement with Flex flight operated Deutsche Bahn AG Germany

Kuwait Airways new rail service agreement with Flex flight operated by Deutsche Bahn will connect German cities such as Munich, Bremen, Munster, Hannover, Cologne, Duesseldorf, Stuttgart, Dresden, Leipzig, Berlin, Hamburg, and Nuremberg via Frankfurt, and rail routes: German Rail (QYG) via Frankfurt or Munich or Amsterdam. The company added that Kuwait Airways passengers could book rail services directly through the company’s website or electronic application or the various reservation channels of travel agents. As part of Kuwait Airways’ efforts to develop and include new services for its esteemed customers, the company announces the signing of an agreement with Flex Flight (W2), which will enable the Blue Bird customers to book German Rail Services operated by Deutsche Bahn AG (DB) and number of cities that Kuwait Airways operates starting from June 2024. Kuwait Airways launches its summer schedule for 2024, Turkey, Egypt, Spain and Italy top destinations

Kuwait Airways announced the launch of its summer schedule for the 2024 season. They will launch numerous destinations during the summer, namely Antalya with two flights per week, Bodrum with three flights per week, Trabzon with three flights per week, Sharm El-Sheikh, with two flights per week, Malaga with three flights per week, and Nice with two flights per week, thus expanding its operations to 54 destinations during the summer season, in addition to its scheduled flights to permanent destinations. As part of its 2024 summer schedule, Kuwait Airways will focus on destinations that are witnessing a huge demand from customers travelling from within the State of Kuwait and will experience an extensive demand to travel, especially during the summer season, from June to September 2024. They had launched numerous diverse destinations and operated to new markets last year, to meet the requirements and preferences of its valued customers and to provide them with different options, in accordance with its efforts to expand its network of routes around the world. Kuwait Airways inaugurates a new sales office

As part of its continuous endeavour to provide the best services to its valued customers and to facilitate communication with them, Kuwait Airways has inaugurated its new Sales Office located at the Assima Mall. The office timings for client services are from Sunday to Thursday from 12:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and from 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM during Fridays and Saturdays, where the office is expected to provide services to more than 100 customers a day. The opening of this office will be followed by opening of the company’s Sales Offices in the Al Kout Mall.  The company will also be aiming to open a branch in the Jahra region soon. Kuwait Airways hosts the Arab carriers organisation meeting to discuss latest digital transformation systems in the aviation sector

Kuwait Airways opened the Arab Air Carrier’s Organization (AACO) meeting on digital transformation in the aviation sector, which was organized in the State of Kuwait, in the presence of various experts and specialists in the air transport sector during the period from 5- 6 September 2023. The meeting discussed the latest mechanisms for digital transformation and artificial intelligence and focused on the methods to develop and improve this aspect in the air transport sector, as well as to follow the most important methods in the Middle East region.
