Travelport crowned “Best Technology Partner” for 2nd consecutive year at Arabian Travel Awards 2018

Travelport has been recognised as the Best Technology Partner to the travel and hospitality industry in the Middle East for the second consecutive year at Arabian Travel Awards 2018. The company also scooped the Best Travel Technology Provider award, a category formerly called Best Global Distribution System, which Travelport also won in 2017. The ceremony took place recently at JW Marriott Hotel in Deira, Dubai. Arabian Travel Awards is an annual event designed to support, promote and develop the Middle East travel and hospitality industry by identifying and rewarding excellence, and inspiring its practitioners to continuously raise the standards of their product and service offering. Winners are selected based on a unique system of jury, judgement and online voting by industry professionals. In other categories, Cozmo Travel won Fastest Growing Travel Management Company and Al Naboodah Travel won the Best General Sales Agent (GSA) award. Matthew Powell, Managing Director, Travelport, Africa, Middle East and South Asia, said, “We are proud of the work we have done over the last 12 months. RwandAir and Cozmo Travel ink deal as offline partners

RwandAir has recently appointed Cozmo Travel as its Passenger General Sales Agent (GSA) for the GCC countries (Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia (Offline). “These strategic partnerships play a very important role especially for airlines entering new markets and the practice is that airlines look competitively for established and well known GSA’s when entering particular markets which saves airlines associated costs for new market entry and, or development such as infrastructure, human resource etc while focusing on results. We are already established in the UAE, flying into and out of Dubai and we do cover the entire UAE market from a passenger and cargo sales perspective. Cozmo Travel partners with Taiwan Tourism board

Cozmo Travel has announced a partnership with Taiwan Tourism Board. Aimed at the summer of 2017, Taiwan is going to be the latest outbound destination for UAE.  Jamal Abdul Nazar, CEO, Cozmo Travel, said, “We are happy to announce that we have signed a contract with Taiwan Tourism Board with a range of joint promotions to increase tourism and visibility for Taiwan through Cozmo Travel network.” Vishal Mehra – VP Sales, Taiwan Tourism Board, said, “We are pleased to tie-up with Cozmo Travel in the UAE. Cozmo Travel launches travtrolley.com for trade partners

Cozmo Travel has launched a B2B trade portal, www.travtrolley.com for local travel and tourism industry operators in the UAE. This new online booking system offers a single login and account to manage the complete tour package which includes airlines, hotels and car rentals worldwide. It is a user-friendly interface developed to empower both travel agencies and corporates in the UAE and the GCC region.
