Rove Hotels has launched Rove Dubai Marina, the fifth hotel in Dubai that celebrates the inspired setting of its waterfront location. Rove Hotels is taking over the UAE with the ‘Roving Bus of Happiness’ to celebrate the United Nation’s International Day of Happiness on March 20, 2018 and support the UAE’s vision to be among the happiest countries in the world. The big, bright and bold double-decker ‘Roving Happiness Bus’ travelled around the city to some of the most iconic locations including Al Seef, La Mer, The Beach and The Dubai Mall. The newly appointed Chief Happiness Officer (CHO) Happyness Chipote will be joining Rovesters who will be giving a round of Happy High Fives and instill happiness among UAE residents.  The Courtyard Playhouse, Dubai’s first improvisational theatre experts, will bring fun and laughter with a show every 30 minutes. DJ Bliss has also curated a dedicated happiness playlist. Rove Hotels has announced its expansion to Saudi Arabia with Rove King Abdullah Economic City, located centrally in the Bay La Sun waterfront district of King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) in the vicinity of a newly established entrepreneurship hub. The construction work is anticipated to start in the second quarter of 2018 with the soft opening scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2019. Featuring 240 rooms, fitness centres and a wide range of lifestyle amenities, Rove Hotels aims to deliver reliable, modern and efficient hospitality services that appeal to all. Like all Rove Hotels, Rove King Abdullah Economic City also takes its contemporary design cues from its surroundings. Emaar, Rove Hotels partner with EGBC for Green Key certification

Emaar Hospitality Group and Rove Hotels have joined hands with Emirates Green Building Council (Emirates GBC), an independent forum aimed at conserving the environment by promoting green building practices, to secure the ‘Green Key’ certification for all its operational hotels and leisure assets in Dubai. The agreement was signed by Olivier Harnisch, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar Hospitality Group, and Saeed Al Abbar, Chairman, Emirates GBC. Harnisch said, “Across our hotels and leisure assets, we have an abiding commitment to uphold the highest standards of energy and water use efficiency as well as best environmental practices.
