Cebu Pacific partners with Al Ansari Exchange for flight payment solutions

Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ largest carrier has partnered with Al Ansari Exchange, a UAE-based foreign exchange and worldwide money transfer company to provide easy and hassle-free payment solutions to passengers in the UAE. The agreement paves the way for customers flying with Cebu Pacific to process their payments for flight tickets at any of the 188 Al Ansari Exchange branches located across the UAE, thus, providing more convenience for their travel arrangements. Travellers who prefer to pay in cash can now do so through the over-the-counter facilities of any Al Ansari Exchange, for bookings they have made through Cebu Pacific’s website or mobile app, and phone bookings, within 24 hours. Candice Iyog, Vice President for Marketing and Distribution at Cebu Pacific, said, “We are pleased to partner with one of the largest exchange houses in the UAE, with a vast network of branches. With this partnership, we’re able to provide more options to our customers which will make it even more convenient for them to avail our trademark year-round low fares.” Passengers traveling to the Philippines on the Cebu Pacific direct Dubai-Manila flight can benefit from the airline’s domestic connectivity, the widest route network within the country. DTCM inks deal with Al Ansari for tourism services

Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) and Al Ansari Exchange, a UAE-based foreign exchange and worldwide money transfer firm, have signed an agreement to facilitate payments for a range of tourism and travel-related services. Under the agreement, partners of Dubai Tourism including hotels, event organisers, tour operators and tourism companies will be able to make payments for services through 183 branches of Al Ansari Exchange across the UAE. The agreement was signed by Ahmed Khalifa Alfalasi, CEO, Corporate Services and Investments, Dubai Tourism and Rashed Ali Al Ansari, General Manager, Al Ansari Exchange. Commenting on the agreement, Alfalasi said, “Dubai Tourism is pleased to enter into a strategic partnership with Al Ansari Exchange, a renowned and respected name in the UAE’s money transfer sector, which will take our payment system to the next level of reliability and convenience. This is also a reflection of the strong spirit of collaboration that exists between the government and private sectors in Dubai for the provision of world-class services to both our residents and visitors, guided by the directives of the visionary leadership. Ticket payments via Al Ansari for SriLankan Airlines

Al Ansari Exchange, the UAE-based foreign exchange and worldwide money transfer company, has recently signed an agreement with SriLankan Airlines, the national carrier of Sri Lanka. According to the terms of the agreement, SriLankan Airlines customers will now be able to make payments through more than 170 UAE-wide Al Ansari Exchange branches. The service will be available during the second quarter of this year onwards. Rashed Ali Al Ansari, General Manager, Al Ansari Exchange, said, “In line with our efforts to enter into corporate partnerships that add value to our clients, we have recently collaborated with the SriLankan Airlines, the national airlines of Sri Lanka. The deal will enable all customers of the airline to process their payments for tickets booked over the phone or via the airline’s website from any of the Al Ansari Exchange branches across the UAE. The extended convenience will also save time and effort for SriLankan passengers.” The signing follows the continuous growth enjoyed by SriLankan Airlines, which is attributed to its equally vibrant tourism industry—ably positioning Sri Lanka as a key tourist destination. Aside from the Sri Lankan travelers, recent figures show that the national carrier has serviced more than 45,000 Indian passengers per year, followed by 36,000 Bangladeshis and around 15,000 British, European and Americans.
