Qiddiya sports, entertainment and culture stadium to attract 7.6million annual visits

Qiddiya sports, entertainment and culture stadium in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is estimated to attract 7.6 million annual visits to the stadium, playing a key role in Vision 2030’s targets for a vibrant society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation – driving tourism and creating jobs. The Board of Directors of the Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) announced  the launch of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium, an iconic multi-use venue set to further enhance Qiddiya’s philosophy of the Power of Play. Upon opening, it is anticipated to host some of Saudi Arabia’s biggest sports, entertainment, and cultural events. Located in Qiddiya City atop the breathtaking 200m-high Tuwaiq cliff and just 40 minutes from Riyadh, this futuristic venue is anticipated to become a must-visit destination. It aims to draw visitors from across the globe and revolutionize the traditional stadium experience with its immersive design and unique technological features, putting spectators at the center of the show. Qiddiya unveils world’s first gaming and esports district

Qiddiya announces a pioneering new Gaming & Esports district which aims to establish the Kingdom as the global epicentre of the rapidly growing gaming and esports industry. Located in Qiddiya City, the vibrant district will be home to four dedicated esports venues that will host global events and aims to attract up to 10 million visits a year. It will form part of the ambitious development of Qiddiya City into a global destination for entertainment, sports and culture, based on the power of play. QIDDIYA CITY will be home to the world’s first mixed-use gaming and esports district that will attract gamers from across the globe and cement Saudi Arabia as the global epicentre of this dynamic sector, it was announced today (December 14). The ambitious gaming and esports attraction will boast four dedicated esports venues and host a year-round calendar of some of the biggest esports events with a combined peak esports tournament seating capacity of 73,000 across the destination.
