OMRAN Group launches the Fourth Edition of “WithinOman” Campaign

As part of its ongoing efforts to boost the local tourism, Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN Group) has launched the fourth edition of its ‘WithinOman’ tourism promotion campaign, which provides a wide array of special packages for all citizens and residents to enjoy leisure experiences across OMRAN Group’s hotels and resorts. The emphasis of this year’s edition is on inspiring individuals, families, and groups of friends to enjoy and discover new places and things to do, as well as take part in leisure and adventure activities at 21 hotels and resorts throughout the Sultanate. The campaign’s deals are available to visitors till the end of September, and there are four major packages with flexible accommodation options and hospitality services to choose from. Commenting on the campaign launch, Mohammed bin Khamis Al Ghufaili, Chief Operations Officer of OMRAN Group, said, “The ‘WithinOman’ campaign aims to boost domestic tourism and attract tourists to spend the peak summer travel period at the Group’s hotel assets around Oman. OMRAN Group inks strategic agreements with Two International Hotel Operators

Continuing to enhance Oman’s position on the global tourism map, Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN Group) recently successfully inked two strategic agreements with renowned international hotel operators – Nikki Beach to operate a 5-star resort in Yiti, and Four Seasons to develop and operate another resort in Muscat. OMRAN Group, an active participant in global events, displaying its progress and the critical role it plays in developing Oman’s tourism sector by developing and managing tourism sites in accordance with Oman Vision 2040 and the National Tourism Strategy. The Group also shed light on major investment prospects and partnership horizons with investors and partners, resulting in the development of Oman’s tourism sector. Dr. Hashil Bin Obaid Al Mahrouqi, CEO of OMRAN Group, shared “the OMRAN Group was successful in showcasing the Sultanate’s numerous investment projects and opportunities, in addition to sharing details about the Sultanate’s efforts and initiatives to boost tourism. OMRAN Group and South Al Sharqiyah Governor’s Office Sign Pact to Develop Tourism Projects

Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN Group) and South Al Sharqiyah Governor’s Office signed a pact to develop several tourism projects in the governorate. The signing aligns with OMRAN Group’s endeavors to work in harmony with various stakeholders in order to stimulate the growth of the Sultanate’s tourism sector. The pact was signed by H.E. Yahya bin Badr Al Mawali, Governor of South Al Sharqiyah and Eng. Mohammed bin Salim Al Busaidi, Chairman of OMRAN Group, in presence of several officials from both parties. Under the pact, OMRAN Group will undertake technical support as well as supervise the execution operations of the multi-phased projects being developed in several Governorate’s destinations, where phase one will see a park development in Al Suwaih with a total area exceeds 65,000 square meters, as well as the development of another park in Al-Ashkharah extending over a total area of roughly 14,000 square meters. The two parks will provide a variety of tourism and entertainment facilities, including dining areas, retail outlets, kids’ playgrounds, and Campgrounds. Oman unveils first digital booking platform for travel trade

Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN) unveiled VisitOman.om, the first authorized national online booking and information gateway for Oman’s Travel Trade sector. In its first phase, registration is now open for Travel Trade partners in international markets together with Oman’s travel and tourism players for future bookings. Envisioned to become a fully integrated digital Travel Trade ecosystem for the Sultanate, VisitOman.om will serve four overarching objectives: First, to position Oman as a growing tourism destination to global markets. Second, to increase inbound tourism. Third, to introduce an accreditation process for the Omani Travel Trade stakeholders featured on the platform. And fourth, to boost socio-economic development in Oman. His Excellency Salim bin Mohammed Al Mahruqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism said, “The launch of the brand identity of the National Travel Operator ‘VisitOman.om’ is an important step that aligns with Oman Vision 2040 and the economic diversification plans.
