flydubai resumes flights to Gassim in Saudi Arabia

flydubai announced that flights to Gassim in Saudi Arabia will commence on 01 May with a daily service. This brings the number of destinations served by the carrier in the Kingdom to eight. flydubai has built a network of more than 95 destination in 50 countries served by a young fleet of 63 Boeing 737 aircraft. With the resumption of daily flights to Gassim, flydubai’s network in Saudi Arabia has now grown to eight destinations including AlUla, Dammam, Jeddah, Madinah, Riyadh, Taif and Yanbu. Flights to Gassim International Airport (ELQ) will operate daily from Terminal 2, Dubai International (DXB) between 01 May and 09 May. These flights will temporarily operate from Dubai World Central (DWC) during the northern runway refurbishment project announced by Dubai Airports which is scheduled to take place from 09 May to 22 June 2022.  Flights to Gassim will resume from Dubai International (DXB) from 23 June. Return Business Class fares from DXB to ELQ start from AED 4,500 and Economy Class Lite fares start from AED 1,450. Return Business Class fares from ELQ to DXB start from SAR 4,500 and Economy Class Lite fares start from SAR 1,390.

flydubai resumes flights to Taif in Saudi Arabia

flydubai announced that flights to Taif in Saudi Arabia will commence on 15 April with a daily service. This brings the number of destinations served by the carrier in the Kingdom to seven. Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at flydubai, said: “we are pleased to see our network grow to offer more than 95 unique destinations. The network expansion has been supported by our growing fleet as we continue to take delivery of more aircraft over the next few months. flydubai touches down in AlUla

flydubai celebrated its inaugural service to AlUla on 02 March, becoming the first national carrier of the UAE to operate flights from Dubai. Yesterday’s inaugural flight arrived at AlUla International Airport (ULH) and was greeted with a traditional water cannon salute, marking the start of a twice-weekly service. On board the inaugural flight was a senior delegation led by Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at flydubai, members of the Royal Commission for AlUla, as well as representatives from the UAE media. The delegation was invited to a welcome reception which was followed by a press conference. flydubai adds Al Ula to its network in Saudi Arabia and resumes operations to Yanbu

flydubai announced the start of flights to Al Ula in Saudi Arabia, becoming the first UAE carrier to operate this route from Dubai. The carrier will also resume its operations to Yanbu growing its network in the Kingdom to six points including Dammam, Jeddah, Madinah and Riyadh. Flights to Yanbu International Airport (YNB), also known as Abdul Mohsin bin Abdulaziz International Airport, start on 24 February with a three times weekly service. Flights to Prince Abdul Majeed bin Abdulaziz Airport (ULH) will start on 02 March 2022 and will operate twice a week from Terminal 2, Dubai International (DXB). flydubai adds Sohag to its growing network

flydubai, the Dubai-based airline, announced the start of its three-times-weekly service to Sohag International Airport (HMB) from 25 July. The flights to and from Sohag will operate via a short stop in Sharm El Sheikh. This will bring the number of points flydubai operates to in Egypt to three including Alexandria Borg El Arab International Airport (HBE) and Sharm El Sheikh International Airport (SSH). flydubai grows network to include Ankara

flydubai has announced the start of a twice-weekly service to Ankara Esenboga International Airport (ESB) from 29th July, 2021, its second destination in Turkey after Istanbul (IST) which is currently served with a daily flight. The carrier also added two destinations in Turkey to its seasonal summer schedule. It operates two weekly flights from Terminal 2, Dubai International (DXB) to Milas-Bodrum Airport (BJV) and to Trabzon Airport (TZX) between June and September. Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer at flydubai, said, “flydubai’s first flight to Turkey landed exactly 11 years ago in Istanbul. flydubai launches daily flights to Warsaw from 30 September

flydubai has announced the start of daily flights to Warsaw (WAW) from 30 September. Warsaw will become flydubai’s second destination in Poland after Krakow (KRK) which currently operates with a twice weekly service. flydubai has announced the resumption of its operations to Naples in Italy. The three weekly flights to Naples International Airport (NAP) will commence on 01 July and offer passengers from the UAE more options for travel this summer. From 02 June, a quarantine-free travel corridor has been established between Italy and the UAE enabling passengers to travel between the two countries with less restrictions. A negative COVID-19 test result will be required 48 hours before departure from the UAE. On arrival in Italy, all passengers over the age of two years will be required to take a rapid antigen test. The safe travel corridor with Italy is the latest in a series of agreements signed by the UAE including those with Bahrain, Greece and Serbia.
