Emirates partners with Emaar to roll out new aviation experiences at Dubai Mall

Emirates is partnering with Emaar and enhancing its presence at The Dubai Mall to connect to a broad local and international audience through interactive brand experiences like the Emirates A380 Simulator Experience and KidZania, and new Emirates Official Store retail experiences across different visitor touchpoints and shopping environments. Ultimately, the larger goal is to excite visitors across all ages by delivering a memorable, tangible piece of Emirates and tell the brand story through unique experiences and innovative travel products. The Emirates A380 Experience, the region’s only public A380 flight simulator has now been relocated to the second floor of The Dubai Mall, adjacent to the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo. Aviation enthusiasts, amateurs testing their flying abilities and those curious about the full experience of flying an A380, can take command of the cockpit for take-off, cruising and landing at thousands of international airports, including every airport in Emirates’ global network. A qualified instructor will be on hand to guide customers through the full experience. A variety of packages are available, starting from 15 minute sessions all the way to 45 minute experiences. Shoppers at The Dubai Mall will soon also be able to find Emirates Official Store products at multiple locations popular with visitors looking to discover the Mall’s iconic attractions. Families coming to KidZania will be able to shop Emirates Official Store products at the venue’s entrance, with a range of kids and toddlers Arsenal and Real Madrid kits, cabin crew uniforms and wooden airport sets. Emirates’ best-selling A380 aircraft model in the Expo Dubai 2020 livery will also be available for purchase.

Emaar inks deal with TikTok to collaborate innovative lifestyle experiences

RTA partners with Emaar to promote ferry service for tourists

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has signed an agreement with ‘At the Top, Burj Khalifa’, developed by Emaar Properties which aims to support RTA’s Ferry service through promoting the sale of Dubai Ferry tickets amongst Dubai visitors, residents and tourist groups received by Emaar. Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO of Public Transport Agency, signed the agreement on behalf of RTA and Ahmed Al Falasi, Executive Director of Group Operations, signed on behalf of Emaar, in the presence of officials from both parties. “The agreement is the first phase of an ongoing scheme between RTA and ‘At the Top, Burj Khalifa’ to improve the marine transit network and enhance the experience of customers using water transport. According to the agreement, ‘At the Top, Burj Khalifa’ will promote the Ferry service amongst visitors and residents of Dubai as well as the tourist groups. The promotional campaign will highlight the mesmerizing features of the Ferry along with the cruise services provided, besides supporting ticket sale at the ticket booths within Ferry stations. RTA has six Ferry boats in operation and three others as standby for any surge in demand or private chartering. The Ferry has made 3700 voyages used by 105.5 thousand riders during the first half of this year, which warrants supporting the service. The Ferry shuttles between eight stations namely Ghubaiba, Marina Mall, Jaddaf, Water Canal, Sheikh Zayed Road, Water Front, Marasi and the Dubai Design District.

Emaar to develop Middle East’s largest Chinatown in Dubai Creek Harbour

Emaar has announced landmark developments that will further strengthen UAE-China relations. To honour Chinese expatriates in the UAE and further bolster business ties with China, Emaar will develop the Middle East’s largest Chinatown within the retail district of Dubai Creek Harbour, its six-square-kilometre mega-development, only 10 minutes from the Dubai Internal Airport and the iconic Burj Khalifa. The retail precinct will occupy a central location within Dubai Creek Harbour – a destination which will be home to the world’s new icon, Dubai Creek Tower, and encompass vibrant lifestyle elements. Set by the Dubai Creek waterway, elegantly designed homes in Dubai Creek Harbour will offer spectacular views of the city’s dramatic skyline, the waterfront and the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary – home to over 450 animal species and migratory birds, including pink flamingos. The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) has signed a management agreement with Emaar Hospitality Group to operate a lifestyle boutique hotel – Vida Al Qasba Sharjah in Al Qasba. The hotel featuring 100 rooms and suites is uniquely positioned to meet the increasing demand for spacious and quality hotel rooms in Sharjah. Marwan bin Jassim Al Sarkal, CEO, Shurooq and Olivier Harnisch, CEO, Emaar Hospitality Group, signed the management agreement in the presence of senior officials of both entities.
