The sixth edition of the Arabian Travel Awards will return tomorrow recognizing the key players who contributed immensely to the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors in the UAE. It is an invitation only event to be held at the Sofitel Downtown Dubai on 25th October 2023. Arabian Travel Awards is a platform for the Middle East market to appreciate the efforts of the travel, tourism and hospitality specialists who have contributed to the booming travel, tourism and hospitality industry. The aim is to encourage them to continue promoting travel, tourism and hospitality in the region. The Arabian Travel Awards are fair and unbiased, following a systematic method of internet-based voting. These awards are supported by Tourismbreakingnews.ae, TravelTVmiddleeast.news and TravTalk Middle East who are premier media partners for the coverage of the event. The awards will be divided into four categories: Personal Awards, Business Awards, Trending Awards and Partner Awards. Arabian Travel Awards announced BurJuman Arjaan by Rotana as the ‘Best Contemporary Hotel Apartments’. This award ceremony is a one-of-its-kind event, awarded on a yearly basis and is a platform for the Middle East to recognise those behind the success of the Travel & Hospitality industry. M Hotel Makkah by Millennium, Makkah, wins the ‘Best 5 Star Hotel in Makkah’ at the Gala ceremony of the Arabian Travel Awards (ATA) 2019. The Gala ceremony of the ATA held on October 22, 2019, took place at the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina in the presence of top regional hoteliers, renowned public figures, and tourism and hospitality key players. It was an evening of celebration at the Westin Mina Seyahi Hotel and Marina when the third edition of the Arabian Travel Awards concluded last night with over 60 awards of recognition for stalwarts in the industry of travel, tourism, hospitality, visa services etc. Mr. Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, Chief Operating Officer, Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), graced the occasion as Chief Guest, with Gladrags Mrs. India Anita Mishra as a special Guest of Honour. In the opening speech, Managing Director and Convener for Arabian Travel Awards, SanJeet, stated that this year there were nearly 200,000 entries submitted which were then shortlisted. He continued, “I would just like to thank all your efforts, it is thanks to you that tourism is responsible for 10 per cent of the world’s GDP, responsible for one in five jobs in the future and within the region, again thanks to your efforts, tourism is one of the fastest growing sectors responsible for nearly 25 per cent of jobs.
