Amsa Hospitality Academy partners with King Khalid University for Graduate Training Program

Amsa Hospitality Academy announced a new partnership with King Khalid University for the launch of a joint training program. Launched in November, an inaugural cohort of 20 university graduates has begun vocational training at the soon-to-open Mercure Khamis Mushait, the first internationally branded hotel in the Aseer Province city of Khamis Mushait. The agreement, signed by Dr. Reham Mashat, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism at King Khalid University, and Mohammad Mandili, Chief People Officer at Amsa Hospitality, marks a significant milestone in the collaboration between academia and the private industry. It aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, providing graduates with hands-on experience. Amsa Hospitality Academy, the vocational training arm of the eponymous Riyadh-based hospitality company, made its debut earlier this year. It was developed in partnership with Luxury Hotelschool Paris, a globally recognized institution known for its pedagogical excellence and collaborations with leading hotel brands. The training materials, certified and reviewed by Luxury Hotelschool Paris, help aspiring Saudi hoteliers develop the skills needed to excel in the hospitality industry. Amsa Hospitality to build an Academy to train Saudi’s in hospitality

At an exclusive interview with TravelTV Mohamad Mandii – Chief People Officer of Amsa Hospitality revealed their plans to build an academy dedicated to training Saudi youth in hospitality in order for them to get first hand training and experience in the industry. “We are working on many programmes but two important ones are ‘Future Generation of Saudi Hoteliers’ and ‘Saudi General Managers of Tomorrow’ which will help and support the initiatives from the ministry of tourism.” He reiterated that they are focusing on the great place to work concept to attract more youth to the industry as they target tier II cities to employ youth who know Saudi Arabia well and could provide authentic experiences to the guests. Amsa Hospitality to focus on midscale market

In a special interview with TTME Amsa Hospitality in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it was shared that they will be looking at developing new properties across tier 2 cities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to serve the mid scale market which will bring in a good number of visitors to the Kingdom. They already signed 18 properties with Accor last year at ATM and this year they plan on bringing a new Saudi brand as an international brand by Q4, more details will be revealed later this year. The management team of Amsa Hospitality shared that their main focus would also be in keeping with Vision 2030 and sustainability to be incorporated in the properties that will be opened. Amsa Hospitality signs strategic partnership with Accor to bring 18 hotels to Saudi Arabia by 2032

Accor signed a master development agreement with Amsa Hospitality, the Saudi startup company redefining Arabian hospitality in both local and international markets, to develop and franchise 18 hotels across second-tier cities within Saudi Arabia over the next ten years. The agreement will see Amsa Hospitality, the Hallmark of Arabian Hospitality, develop a range of Accor’s economy and midscale brands, including ibis Styles, Mercure, Mercure Living, Novotel, Novotel Living, and the recently launched Handwritten Collection, while also acting as the third-party operator by leasing and franchising the assets.
