18th edition of ADIHEX to be held in September 2021

The Higher Organizing Committee of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) has announced that the 18th edition of the exhibition, which was scheduled for September 29 – October 3, 2020, will be rescheduled to September 2021, under the theme of ‘Sustainability and Heritage… A Reborn Aspiration’. The 18th edition of ADIHEX will be organised by the Emirates Falconers’ Club at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of Emirates Falconers’ Club. The decision to postpone the exhibition for a year was taken in consideration due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, to ensure the health and safety of all participants and visitors. H.E. Majid Ali Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of the exhibition has revealed major changes for exhibitors and visitors including enhancing the quality of its exhibits, products, and unique innovations from the world of hunting and equestrian; maintaining ADIHEX’s profile as the largest annual event of its kind in the Middle East and Africa. The comprehensive expansion plan also includes improving the content of the event by providing innovative services, technologies, activities, and events with a renewed vision, strengthening the exhibition’s role in preserving the UAE’s heritage and promoting sustainable hunting. This is in addition to organizing more environmental, heritage, art, educational and awareness-raising activities.

Inaugural Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2018 to kick off in October

Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS) 2018 is all set to be held from October 17-20 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The show will take place under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nahyan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Sports Council. Designed to be a ‘Uniquely Abu Dhabi’ experience, The Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) is organising and hosting the event, showcasing the emirate’s rich maritime legacy and state-of-the-art range of luxury yachts and boats and fishing products from the world’s leading companies. Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Group CEO, ADNEC, said, “We welcome the international companies and players in the luxury yachts and boats and fishing tools industry to participate in the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show and showcase their latest products. ADNEC to develop Hall 4 for enhanced event experience

The Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) has revealed plans to develop its Hall 4, one of the spaces being offered for conferences and similar events. The move is aimed at addressing the growing demand for its award-winning venue, the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, as a host for regional and global conferences and corporate events. The planned development will ensure a better experience for existing and potential conferences and meetings clients as well as the attending delegates. Hall 4, strategically located adjacent to the multi-purpose Atrium, will be divided into three fully equipped event spaces, each capable of hosting 1,000 delegates. Work on the project is expected to be completed this year, in time for 2019, when the centre will host strategic, global congresses that will boost Abu Dhabi’s position on the global map as a hub for regional and international conferences and events. Khalifa Al Qubaisi, Acting Chief Commercial Officer, ADNEC said, “The newly developed meeting rooms, with their strategic locations will enable our conference clients to configure all aspects of their events in a logical and convenient manner. The new rooms are also adjacent to ADNEC’s existing conference suites, the Innovation Lab and the recently refurbished 76 Restaurant, making it apt for expansion and customisation.”
