InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has collaborated with acclaimed British artist Claire Luxton to unveil a series of fully immersive experiences at InterContinental London Park Lane, InterContinental New York Barclay and InterContinental Dubai Festival City. Bookable now through to mid-July, the experiences celebrate the joy of worldliness and the beauty of global travel as told through a Claire Luxton lens. The Claire Luxton Experience at InterContinental Dubai Festival City heroes a limited-edition suite which have been designed and curated by the artist and depict her interpretation of InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. Taking cues from her personal travels and inspirations, Luxton brings the brand to life through the natural flora and fauna signature to her artwork in combination with an array of sensory experiences, including a drawn bath and soundscape. Every detail and room accent across the suite has been transformed to reflect the artist’s style with features including bespoke artwork, lighting and soft furnishings, that represent InterContinental hotels in Japan and Southeast Asia, respectively. A drawn bath experience with a curated soundscape, aromas and florals enhances the stay for guests. Additional discoveries in the suite include a special playlist and coffee table books reflecting Luxton’s travels. Accor signs two new Mövenpick projects in Turkey

Accor signed Mövenpick Living Çamlıvadi and Mövenpick Living Saklıvadi in partnership with Artaş Group and the developer of Vadistanbul in Turkey. Summer travel returns: Emirates sees record booking levels from the UAE, urges customers to book now to avoid disappointment

As travel rebounds from the impact of the pandemic, Emirates is busy preparing for its busiest period yet, with over 550,000 customers expected to fly out from the UAE between June and July on over 2,400 weekly network-wide departures. The airline continues to add flights and frequencies where possible as it ramps up its summer schedule, and will be operating close to 80% of its pre-pandemic capacity, or over 1 million weekly seats this summer to serve demand. Oman Air Boosts Flight Frequencies between Muscat and Salalah

Oman Air has increased weekly flight frequencies on its Muscat-Salalah-Muscat sector to a total of 112 weekly flights, running between 23 June and 11 September 2022. The airline offers wide-body service between Muscat and Salalah, including the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A330 in addition to the Boeing 737, with eight flights per day in each direction, providing flexible travel and connecting flight options. The first flight from Muscat departs at 02:05, and the last flight departs at 20:20. Salalah’s first flight leaves at 04:50, while the last flight leaves at 22:45. Royal Jordanian debuts flights to Toronto

A ceremony for the inaugural flight was held recently at Queen Alia International Airport.
