Accor signs new Swissôtel hotel in Çeşme, Turkey

Accor opens a new hotel under the Swissôtel brand will be opening in Çeşme, Turkey. Swissôtel Çeşme is scheduled to open in June 2022, following the contract signed between Accor Hotel Group and Dilek Holding. Situated in Çeşme, Ilıca Bay, which is known as the Pearl of the Aegean and resembling the feeling of being in Maldives to its guests with its turquoise sea and unprecedented beach, Swissôtel Çeşme is architected by Durmuş Dilekçi. Interior architecture of the hotel is assumed by the master architect, Mustafa Toner who works for Toner Architects. “We are pleased to announce the signing of the Swissôtel Çeşme in partnership with Dilek Holding, as it joins our portfolio of managed premium properties under our  portfolio in Turkey,” said Yigit Sezgin, Chief Commercial Officer for Accor India, Middle East, Africa & Turkey. “Present in 17 countries, the Swissotel brand is the perfect reflection of Swiss tradition blended with modernity. Accor partners with ‘She is Arab’ to advance women’s leadership in MENA

Accor Middle East & Africa launches partnership with ‘She is Arab’, the first dedicated global speakers’ platform for Arab women designed to elevate female leadership development and to drive women’s economic empowerment and advancement in the workplace. As part of the partnership, a series of dialogues and discussions will roll out throughout the year in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan and the UAE, including panels, roundtables, fireside chats, in addition to training and coaching sessions focused on leadership skills, public speaking, personal branding and media interaction. These events will tackle topics including the changing nature of leadership, navigating through workplace culture, achieving work life balance, and advocating workplace policies to ensure equal opportunities for women. Accor opens Ibis and Adagio Hotel complex in Jeddah

Accor recently opened Ibis Jeddah and Adagio Jeddah at Malik Road. A hub for business, leisure and socialising; the complex offers 178 hotel rooms at Ibis, 77 serviced apartments at Adagio and a raft of shared facilities including Hadiqat Laila a 24-hour café along with innovative meeting rooms, a gym, an extensive fitness and wellbeing centre an outdoor swimming pool with a 12-hour coffee shop. Sofitel’s largest property in ME to open in 2019

The largest property of Sofitel in the Middle East, Sofitel Dubai Wafi, is expected to open in early 2019. Being developed in collaboration with development partner MKM Commercial Holdings LLC, it will feature 501 luxury guestrooms, inclusive of 86 suites — ranging in size from 55 sq. m. to 625 sq. m. — in addition to 97 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom serviced residences, which would be operated on an extended-stay basis. Also, there will be a number of dining venues, including an Asian speciality restaurant, gastro pub, a unique destination restaurant, bar and lounge on the 43rd and 44th floors, a French lobby café, an all-day restaurant and a pool bar. Guests will also have the option to relax and unwind at the SoSpa or work out at the comprehensive gymnasium. Also a part of the property will be few outdoor pools, private cabanas and a kids club. Business travellers will have access to 10 meeting rooms, in addition to an 1115 sq. m. ballroom.
