Oman Air Boosts Flight Frequencies between Muscat and Salalah

Oman Air has increased weekly flight frequencies on its Muscat-Salalah-Muscat sector to a total of 112 weekly flights, running between 23 June and 11 September 2022. The airline offers wide-body service between Muscat and Salalah, including the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A330 in addition to the Boeing 737, with eight flights per day in each direction, providing flexible travel and connecting flight options. The first flight from Muscat departs at 02:05, and the last flight departs at 20:20. Salalah’s first flight leaves at 04:50, while the last flight leaves at 22:45. Oman Air increases the number of flights to destinations in India for summer

Oman Air has amended its summer schedule to reflect increased frequency and flight resumptions. Based on the table below, the airline is boosting frequency to 8 Indian destinations: Bangalore, Mumbai, Kozhikode, Kochi, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, and Chennai as demand increases. Between Muscat and its operational India destinations, the airline introduced wide-body service, including the B787 Dreamliner and Airbus A330 in addition to the Boeing 737. Oman Air Granted ‘Airline Retailing Maturity status’ under IATA’s (ARM)

Oman Air announced that it has been granted ‘Airline Retailing Maturity status’ under IATA’s ARM Index Program. The certification recognizes that Oman Air uses Shop/Order capabilities compliant with the standard Enhanced and Simplified Distribution message schema, version 18.2 and the ARM index Capabilities Verification Guidance. Commenting on the certification, Mr. Umesh Chhiber, Senior Vice President Revenue Management, Pricing and Distribution at Oman Air, said “Receiving this status is a proud moment for Oman Air as we now join the first few airlines to have attained the ARM Index certification. Airline retailing has been one of the biggest industry disruptors in recent years and Oman Air is working towards developing additional enhanced retailing capabilities on our NDC channel. Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, will offer its luxurious First Class Suites on B787 Dreamliner flights between Muscat and Salalah for the popular Khareef season. Oman Air launches direct seasonal flights to Tbilisi

Oman Air has launched seasonal service between Muscat and Tbilisi, Georgia, with 2 weekly direct flights (Wednesdays and Sundays), operated with Boeing 737 aircraft. Flights will operate from 16 June 2021 to 16 September 2021, subject to government approvals. The Wednesday flight from Muscat will depart at 20:15 and arrive in Tbilisi at 00:15. The flight from Tbilisi will depart Thursday at 01:15 and arrive in Muscat at 05:00. The Sunday flight from Muscat will depart at 03:30 and arrive in Tbilisi at 07:30. The flight from Tbilisi will depart at 08:55 and arrive in Muscat at 12:40. Oman Air will maintain its comprehensive safety program throughout all elements of the travel journey to ensure that guests fly confidently. Masks are required when guests are onboard the aircraft and in Oman’s airports. Distancing is maintained while guests board and exit the aircraft, which are carefully cleaned after each flight and at the end of every day. Cabin crew all wear a full set of personal protective equipment, meal service has been modified to further ensure safety, and a number of other measures have been implemented to ensure that the airline’s guests and crew are safe at all times. Oman Air announced that it has updated its flight schedule for operations between Muscat (MCT) and Dubai (DXB). The updated flights are now available for booking for travel between 29th April and 30th June 2021, and guests are invited to visit the Oman Air website or contact the Oman Air Call Centre for more details. Flight schedule is as follows: 29th April to 26th June 2021: Thursday and Saturday flights from Muscat will depart at 01:55 and arrive in Dubai at 03:10.
