SalamAir introduced non-stop flights between Fujairah and Salalah from last week. Oman Air Boosts Flight Frequencies between Muscat and Salalah

Oman Air has increased weekly flight frequencies on its Muscat-Salalah-Muscat sector to a total of 112 weekly flights, running between 23 June and 11 September 2022. The airline offers wide-body service between Muscat and Salalah, including the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A330 in addition to the Boeing 737, with eight flights per day in each direction, providing flexible travel and connecting flight options. The first flight from Muscat departs at 02:05, and the last flight departs at 20:20. Salalah’s first flight leaves at 04:50, while the last flight leaves at 22:45. Kuwait Airways launches flights to Salalah

As part of the continuous efforts to expand its network of destinations, Kuwait Airways announced the launch of its first scheduled commercial flight to the city of Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman, with two flights per week on Saturdays and Tuesdays, commencing from 7th June 2022. Kuwait Airways to operate two flights per week to Salalah

Kuwait Airways Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Maen Razouqi, received the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Kuwait, H.E. Dr. Saleh bin Amer Al-Kharousi, in the presence of the Company’s Board Member, Mr. Ahmed Al-Ibrahim at the Kuwait Airways headquarters. The two parties discussed methods to enhance joint cooperation and bilateral relations, to develop them in all aspects related to the aviation sector. They also touched on the extent of relations between the State of Kuwait and the Sultanate of Oman, and the convergence of views between them in all that is related to public interest and in the benefit of both parties. They also focused on ways to achieve the desired objectives in consolidating and strengthening the level of relations between the two countries. On the sidelines of the visit, the CEO, Maen Razouqi, appreciated the diplomatic efforts of the State of Kuwait and the Sultanate of Oman and in the bilateral relations that bring together the two countries in various political, economic, cultural, and other fields. Salam Air introduces three weekly flights from Abu Dhabi to Salalah

Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) welcomed three weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Salalah, the popular holiday destination on the south coast of Oman. The inaugural flight operated by the Omani airline, Salam Air, commenced on July 2 and will continue running until September 7, 2019 allowing travellers from the UAE to visit Salalah conveniently and at affordable rates. Speaking of the seasonal arrangement, Chief Commercial Officer of Abu Dhabi Airports, Maarten De Groof, commented, “Salalah is an ever popular destination for those in the UAE seeking a cooler and nature-driven destination during the summer months. With Salam Air, travellers looking to visit the Omani destination will be able to take advantage of three weekly cost-effective flights. Etihad to launch seasonal fligts between Abu Dhabi and Salalah

Etihad Airways is preparing to launch seasonal flights between Abu Dhabi and the coastal city of Salalah, southern Oman, in time for the region’s unique Khareef, or green season. Etihad will fly to Salalah four times per week between July 2 and  August 31, the peak of the green season.  The flights, to be operated with two-class Airbus A320 aircraft, will depart Abu Dhabi at 8.05 am each Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, arriving at 10.00 am, and enabling guests to begin their break by early afternoon. Salalah is one of the few locations on the Arabian Peninsula that experiences a monsoon season, creating extensive vegetation growth and spectacular waterfalls throughout the coastal ranges, and delivering significantly lower temperatures than the rest of the GCC. Robin Kamark, Chief Commercial Officer, Etihad Aviation Group, said, “Salalah is one of the most sought-after destinations in Oman, and Khareef is an amazing season in which to visit. The green mountains and flowing waterfalls are rare and beautiful in this region, and less than two hours flying time from Abu Dhabi. SalamAir flies double daily to Dubai

SalamAir has introduced Dubai as its first international destination. The double daily service will operate from Muscat International Airport (MCT) to Dubai World Central (DWC) before moving to Dubai International Airport (DXB) starting March 26, 2017. SalamAir’s growing destination network was made possible with the arrival of the second A320 to its fleet, named “Fateh Al Khair” and will introduce a third daily flight to Salalah. “It has been an exciting start to the year for SalamAir with the introduction of our two destinations, Salalah and Dubai, which reinforces our commitment to strongly support and further trade and economic opportunities for Oman,” said Khalid Al Yahmadi, Chairman of SalamAir. “For a newly launched airline, our figures are already showing very promising results. Steigenberger’s 1st InterCity Hotel in Oman

Steigenberger Hotels with its head office in Germany, has announced opening its first IntercityHotel in the Middle East. The first IntercityHotel outside Europe is now opened in Salalah, located 1,000 kilometres to the South-West of the capital Muscat in Oman. This is the first international mid-market hotel in the city.The new hotel extends over eight stories and offers 70 rooms as well as a restaurant and a modern gym. Puneet Chhatwal, CEO, Steigenberger Hotels , commented: “Following our Steigenberger début in Dubai in November last year, we are now bringing our IntercityHotel brand to the Middle East for the first time.
