Hatta announces the first ever Hatta Farming Festival

The Supreme Committee to oversee the development of Hatta announced the launch of the first ever Hatta Farming Festival. To be held from 23 to 27 February, 2024 at the Hatta Hall, the event will be organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment in cooperation with the Dubai Municipality, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), and the Hatta Traders Council. The launch of the festival is an initiative of the Supreme Committee to Oversee the Development of Hatta, aimed at enhancing Hatta’s economic and tourism development, supporting traders and small business owners, encouraging them to display their agricultural products, and celebrating the rich heritage and agricultural production of the region. The inaugural Hatta Farming Festival, which is free to enter, will run from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. Bringing the community together in a vibrant setting that celebrates agricultural and environmental practices, the event offers a platform for local farmers to display their activities and produce. Over five fun-packed days, visitors can join in exciting educational workshops and sessions, go on tours to nearby heritage sites, and sample culinary delights from local businesses in Hatta, including six food trucks and pop-up cafes, in a coming-together of the area’s farming community. Open to guests of all ages, every visitor will find something to enjoy, with entertainment events being held throughout the festival including roaming performances by Dubai’s beloved characters, Modesh and Dana. DubaiDestinations campaign returns to spotlight city’s unique winter experiences

The third edition of the #DubaiDestinations winter campaign was launched to be held from 15th to 31st December 2023. The campaign puts the spotlight on the unique places, activities and attractions that make Dubai one of the world’s most-loved winter getaways. As part of the campaign, Brand Dubai announced that it has partnered with the Supreme Committee Overseeing Hatta Development to launch the inaugural edition of the Hatta Festival, a vibrant celebration of culture, sports and family entertainment in the heart of Dubai’s picturesque mountain region. Hatta Resorts and Hatta Wadi Hub set new records with 200,000 Visitors in season 4

Hatta Resorts and Hatta Wadi Hub Season 5 will commence on 15 September 2022, following a successful extended Season 4 that welcomed more than 200,000 visitors from 125 nationalities in eight months. In line with the emirate’s vision to create opportunities and engage businesses in Hatta, Season 4 also witnessed a 32 percent increase in the number of partners from the Hatta local community reaching 25 partners, who have been instrumental in the development of Hatta’s eco-tourism. Increase of footfall was influenced by the new additions to the destination’s experiences, the Hatta Caravan Park and the Hatta Dome Park, complementing the existing Damani Lodges and Sedr Trailers, and giving people more opportunities to enjoy Hatta’s views, activities and charm. In the meantime, Hatta Kayak as well as biking and hiking activities will continue to operate throughout the summer. Summer Activities Adventure seekers can continue to enjoy Hatta’s hiking and biking trails. Spanning 32.6 kilometers, the Hatta hiking and biking trails are divided into different grades and five routes to accommodate every level and experience of hikers and riders. Hatta Development Committee holds workshop to screen views of residents about tourism development projects

The Supreme Committee to Oversee the Development of Hatta held a workshop in the presence of a group of Hatta residents, in order to present the development initiatives being implemented in Hatta, and to take the opinions and suggestions of the people of the region, during which the executive team for the development of the Hatta region and the representatives of the sub-teams presented a list of projects and a road map for the region. The meeting also included a discussion session during which the team members listened to the suggestions and observations of the people of Hatta about the existing initiatives and projects aimed at developing the area. The supreme committee is keen to engage the residents of Hatta in the development process, which would create promising work prospects. Undertaking such projects responds to the directives of leaders aimed to bring happiness to citizens and support the youth to harness their energetic and innovative ideas in the prosperity of the area.
